Solution

"When you have a camera that is light and comfortable to use you are more likely to capture moments that are fleeting, and I believe the beauty is actually in these little soulful moments."

Approach

Our approach was tailored to the bustling, scenic environment of the city. Using two Fujifilm X-H2s with MK Lenses, rigged in two different ways enabled us to remain lightweight and nimble, a crucial factor in manoeuvering through Lisbon's vibrant streets and capturing spontaneous moments without disruption. Being a self-shooting director on this project allowed us to remain unobtrusive with the ability to transition quickly between locations, ensuring we were always ready to shoot without missing a beat.

This setup proved ideal for demonstrating the X100VI's capabilities, allowing Olga to interact naturally with her surroundings while we captured the essence of each scene with clarity and dynamism. I am particularly proud of how this project turned out; it not only showcased the technical prowess of the X100VI camera but also highlighted its adaptability in a real-world setting, perfectly aligning with the dynamic pace and visual richness of Lisbon. This approach underscored the camera's suitability for travel photographers like Olga, who require a tool that complements her intuitive shooting style.

Client Testimonial

“We've been collaborating with Chris for more than six years now and keep coming back to him with new projects, first and foremost, for his authentic way of telling our stories. His attention to detail and cinematic composition have given our content this beautiful, consistent look and feel in line with the quality of our brand and products, and our audience never fail to praise the filmmaking in our comment sections.

To each brief Chris brings a new creative perspective which has evolved our content over the years. He also has this amazing ability to make anyone he's interviewing feel calm and at ease, even when they're staring down the barrels of 3 lenses, and the client is anxiously watching in the corner (would we ever!). He's always helped us turn some technical, heavy interviews into something digestible and engaging to watch. He's a pleasure to work with both off and on set.”
